Chasing your dreams and being true to yourself doesn’t usually pay off in this paradigm. They said if you just work hard enough… Oh, how it seems like such a dark punchline now! Seeking, speaking the truth will have those-who-raised-you-to-do-just-that not wanting to talk about it anymore. More often than not, in this society, lies and cheating bring success while honesty is punished. Kind of a slap in the face. More like a concrete fucking fist to the nose. A fairy tale. Had our parents, teachers, pastors and guardians not lied to us, we may have learned how to get by better by lying here and there, as honesty is punished. Had they not told us we were all special fairy tale creatures god would always individually take care of and protect, we could have been a bit more practical when chasing our dreams. Oh well. I still have no fucking regrets, I guess. I’ll still do it my way. Here’s some of the blood and ink that spilled onto the paper! And don’t forget, no matter how bad it gets, how broke you are, or life brutally unfair, at least there are stupid fucking fart jokes to hopefully laugh at. I’m not joking.
