Had a nice visit to my favorite “dank city” in Japan, Nagoya. In my last post I went on an ecstatic rant about how wonderful the place is as it is so lively compared to other cities here, and how so few people are masked, relatively speaking. Open-front shops are packed to the gills with people smiling, laughing, drinking, and BSing. The streets are full of people. It’s a last bastion for life and freedom in a world becoming ever more draconian, cold, anti-life, and boring/sterile. Nagoya has a reputation for people being flashy, even to the extent of gaudiness, but, Jesus christ, I’ll take it. I felt alive again. Adding to this flavor — and the flavor of the city’s amazingly dank miso katsu — is the opportunity to buy expensive shiny things made of precious metals with Bitcoin Cash. Snapped a photo as I passed by this great place: Gem Castle Yukizaki.

Gem Castle Yukizaki makes buying these goods easy with BCH. Just a QR code, send the money, and the thing is yours. Business as it should be, simple and direct. The stores (it is a chain) are also somewhat English-friendly, so that is a plus for us foreigners. However, as the country is currently packed with so many obnoxious gaijin with no appreciation for culture, please do try and at least learn a couple things in Japanese to try out if and when you pop in 😉 Or not.
Anyway. I fucking love you, Nagoya.
