The Price of Fairy Tales

Such as: If you don’t give money to religion you go to hell. 

Such as: If you are talented and try hard you WILL SUCCEED.

Such as: You are special and “God” will meet your needs. 

Such as: Always tell the truth, and you’ll be rewarded. 

THE PRICE —-> Insurmountable debt. Disillusionment. Lower material quality of life. Constant stress, anxiety, fatigue. 

What can be done about it? Run about it. Binge drink. Make art about it. Write. Read. Collapse on the floor under the weight of existential terror. Wink at the hydrangeas. Thank them for their understanding on a rainy three miles. 

Be grateful for beauty, take responsibility for the situation (not the abusive causes) and be glad YOU DID IT, AND CONTINUE TO DO IT, YOUR WAY. Free and not sold to anybody.

Plus, kids are getting limbs blown off and losing parents and worse all over the world thanks to similar retard fairy tales about war, the necessity of “states,” etc. I know, looking at things this way, my life is lucky. That things are different with different perspective. We all take our inward journeys alone.
