Contrary to the common statist trope that “anarchy has never been tried” there’s a litany of historical and modern examples of Voluntaryism and relatively peaceful anarchy in action in advanced and thriving societies around the world. It is an empirical fact, further, that statist murder of innocent human beings massively outweighs non-government murder across the 20th century. Regardless, the fact remains that advocating for a state — all of which modern states are predicated on systematic violence and extortion against the non-violent — is a logically self-detonating position. No state has ever shrunk itself or consistently protected the rights of the smallest minority — the individual. To argue that in order to lessen theft and violence, systematic theft and violence on a grand scale is necessary, is an absurdity.
