   Earthquake in Ishikawa… I pray that you are safe.
   I think Japan is being targeted.
   I am so frustrated and sad, I have no words.

      We are okay here, though the earthquake was very spooky. Are you okay?

      I suspect Japan is being targeted, too.

         Thank you for your reply.
         I am glad you and your family are safe.
         I live in Kansai and was scared by the long unnatural shaking in the afternoon on the first day of the new year.
         Thank you for your concern.
         I am sorry for the delay in greeting you, but I wish you a happy new year.
         I will not yield to any authority if I am not convinced.
         Sometimes I am too busy with personal matters to read your blog, but I try to read as much as I can when it is updated because it gives me insights that I tend to overlook on my own in many ways.
         Salinger is my favourite author too.
         I identify very much with Holden Caulfield and I see a lot of similarities with him.
         But my favourite was “Franny and Zooey”, and I still cherish that emotion.
         When I was younger, I was just like Franny.
         I was fastidious, clumsy, I couldn’t tolerate the hypocrisy around me and I was lost, not knowing how to live.
         Not much has changed even now.
         Maybe I haven’t grown up lol.
         Anyway, I still feel as if the lovable characters Salinger portrayed still exist in my mind.
