The world is in a terrible mess
what makes it even worse
is most people are busy pretending it’s not a mess.
This makes my head a mess.
This makes me hate you.
And I don’t mean the natural world, no.
But that world of politicized moronic lunacy.
For the first time in my life I really
see no future.
The future is what we make it. We CAN make a difference. We ARE making a difference, despite how insignificant we may feel. They can kill a man but they can’t kill an idea. The bastards who are comin’ after us maybe appear to be formidable foes, but we have something they don’t have – a sheer determination to succeed and we have numbers, and technology on our side. They aren’t as strong as we may have thought. They are fragile. Behind the curtain, there’s just a tin-pot machine faking everything, held together with string. This thing called encryption, they don’t like it! Whatever they do, we can out-fox them by using encryption. They want to ban encryption – but they can’t ban numbers. It doesn’t matter how many guns they point at 2+2, the answer is still 4. Let’s realign our ranks (a great lyric I heard recently) – and let’s go for the jugular!
